Did you know that 1 in 7 women and 1 in 500 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, with nine people in Australia losing their lives to the disease every day?
Since 1994, the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) has invested over $200 million in more than 600 research projects across Australia. Thanks to these efforts, the breast cancer death rate in Australia has dropped by over 40%. While this progress is incredible, there’s still work to be done. Together, we can continue to improve outcomes for those affected by breast cancer.
On Friday, October 18th 2024, The Beach Hotel Townsville will donate ALL proceeds from coffee sales between 7 am and 11 am to NBCF. We are so happy to be a part of this charity and look forward to participating in raising vital funds for NBCF. Join us in supporting this important cause and helping us work towards a future with Zero Deaths from breast cancer!
